The students looked at iconography in artwork, first establishing what an icon is, then figuring out how each icon represents a certain idea. They were then challenged with creating a character that is an icon for themself. For example, the bat represents the student’s preference for solitude and dark spaces, The ghost represents how the student often "disappears" in spaces, the Woody The Woodpecker parody is a representation of how the student laughs, and the skeleton represents how the student feels when they first wake up.
